Neurologist Position

KurzSolutions is seeking a skilled Neurologist to join our team at the Albuquerque Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC). As a Neurologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the outpatient general neurology consult and follow-up clinics, as well as inpatient neurology consults.
Responsibilities- See patients in outpatient general neurology consult and follow-up clinics, including both in-person and virtual clinics.
- See inpatient neurology consults.
- Take calls from the ED as needed.
- Be responsible for the oversight of all aspects of neurologic care delivered to assigned patients.
- Perform neurologic procedures, such as EMG, EEG interpretation, and/or Botox administration, commensurate with individual training and expertise.
- Supervise and teach neurology residents and medical students during their Neurology rotation.
- Must be a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Osteopathy (D.O.) who has completed an internship and residency in an accredited Neurology Training Program and is board certified or board eligible in Neurology.
- Shall be board certified/Board Eligible in Neurology.
- Shall be required to be certified in BLS or ACLS.
- Must have an active DEA Certificate.
- Must have and maintain a valid, unrestricted license in one of the 50 states in the U.S., the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
