Emergency Medical Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our Central Region Emergency Medical Services Team at Geisinger. As an EMT, you will play a vital role in providing emergency care to patients in need. With a focus on rapid response, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services to patients in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. • Examine and evaluate patients to determine necessary care, utilizing your expertise and clinical judgment to make informed decisions.
• Provide emergency medical care by utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Gather patient data, document information, and maintain confidentiality to protect patient rights and dignity.
• Transport patients safely and efficiently, adhering to outlined policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked environment, ensuring a safe space for patients and colleagues alike.

To succeed in this role, you must possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), as well as valid driver's licenses and certifications as a Certified Emergency Medical Technician (CEMT).
