IPM Specialist

Job Title: IPM Specialist

Job Summary:

Solar Cannabis Co. is seeking a skilled IPM Specialist to join our team. As an IPM Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring plants in our grow rooms for potential pest risk, identifying problem areas, and implementing effective IPM procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor plants daily for pest risk and identify problem areas
• Apply beneficial insects to plants as needed
• Conduct foliar feeding and preventive spraying
• Assess plant response and effectiveness of IPM procedures
• Clean fertigation lines and tanks
• Work with Cultivation Management on spray scheduling
• Mix pesticides and preventive solutions appropriately
• Monitor and track efficacy of product applications
• Maintain application logs
• Assist the Cultivation team as needed

Requirements:

• Cannabis knowledge preferred
• Deep understanding of beneficial insects and spray application processes
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Positive energy and a great work ethic
• Excellent listening skills

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license or state ID
• Must pass all required background checks
• Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends
• Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
• Frequently moves up to 30+ pounds of equipment/materials/product within rooms (100 pounds with assistance)
