**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Professional to join our team at Lumpkin County School District. As a key member of our childcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our care.

**Responsibilities**

  • Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities and curriculum to promote learning and development.
  • Supervise and engage children in play, learning, and socialization, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as well as changing diapers and supporting potty training efforts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized childcare area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day, including daily reports and updates.

**Requirements**

  • Experience in a preschool or classroom setting with a strong understanding of early childhood development.
  • Excellent caregiving skills, including behavior management techniques and the ability to create stimulating and educational environments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with parents and colleagues.
