PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and submit proposals, solicit quotes, and negotiate purchasing agreements.
- Create and distribute purchase orders and contracts.
- Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues that arise.
- Assess and verify the quality of procured goods and rectify any deficiencies.
- Research industry trends and support upper management in crafting and executing sourcing strategies.
- Manage and maintain all sourcing initiatives to ensure the supplier database is current and inclusive of new vendors as necessary.
- Oversee all bidding processes for finished products and packaging materials.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement within the food and beverage sector is preferred.
- Strong understanding of purchasing methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and relevant business applications, including purchasing and resource planning systems.
- Strong mathematical skills and capabilities in financial forecasting.
