Key Responsibilities- Teach five sections of Geometry and Algebra II, adhering to California state and Archdiocesan standards.
- Plan and deliver lessons that promote mathematical understanding, fluency, problem-solving capacity, and reasoning skills.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with department members to evaluate, monitor, and update curriculum, assessment, and pacing guides.
- Integrate technology, such as Blackboard Learning Management System, EdTech Apps, and collaborative tools, to enhance the learning experience.
- Stay up-to-date with new trends and developments in Mathematics, instructional strategies, and assessment.
- Passion for teaching Mathematics at the secondary level and experience working with high-school aged students.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in the subject discipline; a teaching credential and/or Master's degree is preferred.
- Prior Mathematics teaching experience, especially in a Catholic educational setting, is preferred; relevant experience in the field is also strongly considered.
