Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Company Overview:

Performance Staffing Solutions, Inc. is a leading design company specializing in delivering innovative solutions for hydraulic and pneumatic applications. We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in electrical design and control of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for controlling hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

2. Program and optimize control algorithms using CODESYS and PLC programming.

3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical control systems into larger engineering projects.

4. Create detailed electrical panel layouts and construction plans using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and AutoCAD Inventor.

5. Perform testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical systems to ensure reliable functionality.

6. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational manuals.

7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in control systems technology.

8. Provide technical support during system integration and commissioning phases.

9. Participate in design reviews, offering recommendations for system improvements.

10. Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations throughout design and implementation.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

2. Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical design and control for hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

3. Proficiency in CODESYS and PLC programming languages.

4. Expertise in electrical panel layout and construction.

5. Advanced experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and AutoCAD Inventor software.

6. Strong knowledge of industrial automation standards and protocols.

7. Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

10. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

2. Professional Engineering (PE) license.

3. Experience with motion control systems and servo drives.

4. Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic component selection and sizing.

5. Knowledge of safety standards (ISO 13849, IEC 62061).

6. Experience with HMI development.

7. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, or Ethernet/IP.
