Job Overview

The Evening Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in overseeing and facilitating warehouse operations during the second shift. This position requires collaboration with the Warehouse Team to uphold a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to warehouse clients by managing access to secured areas.
  • Supervise Stock Room activities and ensure accurate documentation for inventory movements.
  • Generate daily adjustment journals for checked-out items using the Aspen Canopy system.
  • Utilize RMI Laser systems for engraving tools and knives, employing SymbolWriter Pro software.
  • Digitally archive purchase orders and receipt documents into Aspen Canopy via copier/scanner.
  • Conduct weekly inventory cycle counts in the stock room.
  • Establish new item locations and ensure proper labeling of inventory.
  • Receive and organize purchased goods in designated stock areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Warehouse, North Dock Racks, Receiving Dock, Red Room, Bag, and Box areas.
  • Implement the "5S" methodology focusing on visual order, organization, cleanliness, and standardization.
  • Participate in year-end inventory cycle counts and file purging activities.
  • Assist in loading and unloading storage and transfer trailers.
  • Demonstrate data entry proficiency and computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Warehouse Manager to support operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Proficient in basic office software, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation.
  • Exhibit professionalism in all communications.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor while managing frequent interruptions.
  • Knowledge of powered and manual pallet jacks.

Physical Demands:

This role involves occasional climbing, stooping, and crouching; standing for extended periods; frequent walking; and the ability to push, pull, and grasp materials. Candidates must be capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50+ lbs and working in a warehouse environment while adhering to safety protocols.
