We are seeking a highly skilled LPN Nursing Supervisor to lead our nursing team in delivering exceptional patient care and achieving positive clinical outcomes. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our nursing units, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and collaborating with our Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the DON to maintain adequate nursing coverage and ensure safe nursing care for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Participate in the interview process for nursing vacancies and assess the performance of existing employees.
- Identify educational needs of the staff and communicate needs to the Nurse Practice Educator.
- Ensure patient care assignments are consistent with staff competencies, scope of practice, and patient needs.
- Support the DON in employing a strong Quality Improvement process for the nursing department.
- Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
