Fox Corporation is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Legal Technology team. The Vice President, Legal - Emerging Technology will be responsible for drafting and managing strategic technology agreements related to emerging technology and advertising technology.
About the Job
The successful candidate will provide legal advice on emerging technology-related topics, including AI, ad tech, intellectual property, and consumer protection. They will work closely with the emerging technology team to advise on product features and draft platform terms of use and terms related to consumer data collection, use, and transfer. This role requires a strong substantive background in emerging technology, including experience providing pragmatic and actionable advice on various obligations and legal risks under applicable technology laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on emerging technology-related topics.
- Advise on product features and draft platform terms of use.
- Remain up-to-date on relevant technology laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctor Degree from a top-tier ABA-accredited U.S. law school.
- 7+ years of experience at a leading law firm and/or in-house in a technology company environment.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent judgment.
- Demonstrated transactional and technology licensing experience.
Additional Information
This role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, benefits, and other perks. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the estimated salary range for this position is $222,500-$304,000 annually.
