Early Childhood Educator

SproutFive is a pioneering early education organization dedicated to providing holistic, high-quality learning experiences for young children. We're seeking an exceptional Infant Teacher to join our team and play a vital role in shaping the lives of our students.
About the RoleAs an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children aged six weeks to 18 months. You will work collaboratively with your teaching team to align curricular outcomes with individual child needs, ensuring each child receives the best possible start in life.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that support child development
- Manage the day-to-day operational activities of your classroom, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment
- Maintain frequent communications with families through informal discussions and progress reports
- Connect families to opportunities and supports in SproutFive's Family Resource Center
- Mentor student teachers, fellows, and other professionals in best practices in early education and child care
- Completed at least a CDA (Child Development Associates) or higher degree in a related field
- Expertise in child development and some professional child care experience at a highly rated Step Up To Quality or NAEYC accredited program
- Strong oral and written communication skills, basic computer skills, and a willingness to participate in professional development and training
- Ability to meet all state requirements for working in early education, including a full background check and health screenings
- Competitive pay scale based on credential, starting at $17.25 (CDA), $18.17 (Associates), $22.80 (Bachelors), and $25.79 (Masters) an hour
