Responsibilities:- Administer safe and competent respiratory care as ordered per physician
- Monitor mechanical ventilation and administer medications
- Conduct patient assessment and understand ramifications of hemodynamic monitoring
- Monitor and understand blood work results
- Teach and train patients and staff
- As required for Registry by National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Certified / Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Appropriate licensure from state licensure agency
- BCLS and ACLS certifications and maintain them for the duration of employment
