Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Mounter and Assembler to join our team. As a Mounter and Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and mounting trailers, ensuring that they meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and mount trailers, including installing tool boxes, mounting tires, and cleaning trailers.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Detect and report any faulty equipment or defective materials.
- Examine work pieces for defects and measure them to ensure conformance with specifications.
- Lay out, position, and secure parts using hand tools and measurement tools.
- Analyze engineering drawings and blueprints to plan layout and assembly.
- Mark or tag material with proper job numbers and identifying marks.
- Position and secure work pieces using hoists, cranes, wire, and banding machines or hand tools.
- Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
- Set up and use ladders and platforms safely.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong mechanical ability and/or experience required.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret drawings and prints.
- Ability to accurately use and read micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment, including hoists and cranes.
The work environment is a normal factory environment with noise, dust, and mechanical operations. The employee will spend 100% of their time in a factory environment.
