Key Responsibilities

The Custodial Team Leader will:

  • Facilitate training sessions that cover customer service, safety protocols, compliance, and company policies.
  • Provide individualized training as necessary.
  • Update and instruct on the proper use of janitorial equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe chemical handling.
  • Prepare and revise training materials as needed; assist with administrative tasks as required.
  • Offer constructive feedback on new team members during their orientation; review training records to ensure compliance.
  • Recommend disciplinary actions to the training coordinator when necessary.
  • Conduct monthly safety performance reviews to ensure adherence to OSHA and other relevant regulations.
  • Perform building inspections as needed.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.
