We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to join our team at TeamHealth. As a Physician Assistant in our Emergency Department, you will work collaboratively with our team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians to provide high-quality patient care.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in Emergency Medicine.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
**Requirements**
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant in Emergency Medicine.
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Medicine or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
