Shift: 8 hours, daytime
Employment Type: Travel

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for MRI examinations
- Clearly explain procedures to alleviate patient anxiety
- Set up equipment to ensure timely administration of procedures
- Screen patients according to established protocols and secure necessary consents

MRI Procedures Include:
- Conducting abdominal, thoracic, neurological, and extremity exams
- Positioning patients on the exam table within the MRI gantry
- Inputting patient history and relevant information from the referring physician
- Calculating the number of scans based on patient size and operating equipment to obtain required images
- Collaborating with Radiologists to determine if additional scans are necessary
- Managing the transfer of computed images to film and utilizing PACS systems
- Assisting Radiologists with IV contrast administration
- Monitoring patient conditions and observing them throughout the examination
- Reporting any changes in patient conditions to the Radiologist
- Performing minor repairs and routine calibration checks on equipment
- Troubleshooting mechanical issues and reporting major problems to management
- Assisting in patient flow, including scheduling exams and ensuring premedication is administered
