We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our team at Middle River Aerostructure Systems. As a Toolmaker, you will play a critical role in the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of high-precision tools used in the manufacturing of complex aerostructures.

• Design, fabricate, and assemble high-precision tools using a variety of materials, including metals, composites, and adhesives.
• Repair and maintain existing tools to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
• Inspect tools to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments, such as laser, optics, and micrometers, to check work and ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement tooling solutions that meet customer requirements.

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in toolmaking or a related field.
• Thorough knowledge of complex drawings and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with machining equipment, such as band saws, sanders, lathes, and milling machines.
• Knowledge of trigonometry and ability to calculate angles and dimensions.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and conditions.
