We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Prisma Health, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients. As a Nursing Professional - Patient Care Advocate, you will provide exceptional care and support to patients in an acute inpatient setting, fostering a patient-centered approach that prioritizes their unique needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized plans of care that reflect current evidence-based practices and address continuity of care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to derive measurable outcomes from diagnoses, ensuring culturally sensitive and attainable goals.
- Provide direct care to assigned patients, performing specific tasks within the scope of practice and utilizing known resources and technology.
- Evaluate plan of care for effectiveness, document progress toward expected outcomes, and revise plan as needed.
- Communicate effectively with peers and other healthcare team members to ensure smooth hand-offs and patient safety.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- An Associate's Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute inpatient setting.
- SC Licensed RN - Registered Nurse certification.
- Basic computer skills and mathematical skills.
- Patient equipment knowledge (suction, vitals, defib).
$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
