Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to provide high-quality patient care and support our team in a state-of-the-art catheterization laboratory. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including cardiologists and radiologists, to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or complications during procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict infection control protocols and ensuring the proper disposal of biohazardous materials.
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or Radiation Technologist.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift equipment, and move patients as needed.
