Palliative Care Physician Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Palliative Care Physician to join our team at a 231-bed regional referral hospital in Indiana. This full-time position offers a chance to contribute to a dynamic inpatient program and provide support to patients and their families.
Position Details:- Position Type: Full-time, providing stability and professional growth.
- Hospital Setting: Join a 231-bed regional referral hospital, contributing to the well-being of the community.
- Electronic Medical Records: Utilize Epic EMR for efficient patient care and record-keeping.
- Inpatient and Outpatient Integration: Participate in a vibrant inpatient program, with the outpatient practice located in the same department as the Geriatrics Practice.
- Call Rotation: Engage in an inpatient weekend call rotation, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8 am - 5 pm), offering a balanced and predictable schedule.
- Collaborative Role: Serve as the primary collaborative physician for two Palliative Care Inpatient NPs and a NP specializing in transitional care within the outpatient clinic.
- Alternative Collaboration: Act as an alternative collaborative physician for two NPs focusing on geriatric medicine within the outpatient clinic.
- Medical Equipment: Utilize advanced medical equipment, including EKG machines, Sophia-Flu, Covid Reader, and A1C testing.
- Experience: Apply your experience with working alongside APPs and managing end-of-life and chronic illnesses.
- Compassionate Care: Demonstrate compassion for ill patients and their families, contributing to a supportive healthcare environment.
- Qualifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Palliative Care, Previous experience in inpatient and outpatient palliative care medicine is desired, Hold an Indiana Medical License to practice medicine in the state, Maintain BLS/ACLS certifications to ensure patient safety.
- Location: Near SAINT PAUL, IN, providing a strategic and convenient location in Indiana.
