Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, mix, and prepare raw materials according to company specifications and recipes.
  • Form, cut, mold, shape, and bake dough to create a variety of baked goods.
  • Monitor cooking completion times and adjust heat and humidity temperatures as needed.
  • Ensure all products meet our quality standards by conducting regular quality checks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to our company's health and safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers.
  • Maximize sales potential by effectively merchandising and promoting our products.
  • Follow established procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and displaying products.
Requirements:
  • 6-12 months of retail experience, preferably in a bakery or food service environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic math skills for recipe conversions and modifications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
Working Conditions:
  • Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
  • Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $21.20, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan benefits, and paid time off.
