SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care through physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. You will also be expected to utilize a problem-based approach to develop complete problem lists, differential diagnoses, and diagnostic plans. Additionally, you will perform routine and complex surgical procedures, including spays/neuters, abdominal exploratory surgeries, and mass removals. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively document patient observations, findings, treatments, and medications in the medical record.
You will work closely with our experienced veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and transition. As a key member of our hospital, you will be expected to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor during emotional and stressful situations.
Requirements- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
- Active licensure as a veterinarian without contingencies in the state where the hospital is located or ability to obtain by start date.
- Current DEA license.
- USDA Category I accreditation or completion within two months of hire date.
