Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Attendant to join our team at Kings Dominion. As a Front Desk Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless experience for our visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reservations and Guest Services: Operate the reservations system, making reservations via phone or in person, checking guests in and out, and processing payments.
  • Site Familiarization: Become knowledgeable about our site types and amenities to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Develop strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively handle guest inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Technical Skills: Be proficient in basic computer skills, phone operations, and paperwork management.
  • Monitoring Reservations: Proactively monitor reservations to ensure guest requests are met and updates are made as necessary.
  • Adaptability: Stay up-to-date on K2 updates and adapt to changes in daily operations.
  • Mathematical Skills: Perform basic addition and subtraction calculations as needed.
  • Guest Interaction: Greet and assist guests with their reservation needs, providing a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods of time and perform other minor to moderate tasks as assigned by a supervisor.
Requirements
  • Availability: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test and background check, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license.
