Traveling Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and developing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans to improve respiratory function and overall health.
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions, including the insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
  • Perform timely and accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement and patient safety.
  • Teach and counsel patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety.
  • Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification.
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
Work Environment

This is a contract/temporary/travel position, with a 13-week duration. The shift will be 12 hours, with 36 hours per week. The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
