Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and coordinate the technical activities of the laboratory, including financial, human resource, and quality management.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all laboratory operations are in compliance with relevant regulatory and accreditation agencies.
  • Financial Management: Monitor financial performance and adjust operations to meet financial targets.
  • Staff Management: Manage staff by monitoring technical competencies and nurturing behavioral development through enforcement of standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in laboratory sciences.
  • Certifications and Experience: Valid registration as a Medical Technologist or equivalent, 5+ years of laboratory operations management experience, and experience with hematology, chemistry, and blood bank.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and soft skills, general knowledge of laboratory technology in all disciplines, and familiarity with regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Education: Master's degree in a related field.
  • Certifications: ASCP certification.
