Pinnacle Home Care Inc. is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Physical Therapists in evaluating and developing rehabilitative plans of care
  • Participate in the preparation of clinical and daily progress notes
  • Perform routine strengthening and therapeutic exercises, and assist patients with the use of self-help devices
  • Instruct patients and family members on exercise programs and provide education on physical therapy techniques
  • Identify and report any adverse reactions to treatment, and consult with Physical Therapists on patient outcomes
  • Participate in discharge activities and assist with completing Physical Therapy Discharge Summaries
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program or equivalent education
  • Licensed to practice as a PTA in the State of Florida
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organization's requirements
  • Minimum of one year's experience in home healthcare preferred
