**Role Summary**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual for the position of Administrative Assistant 3 in Transition Studies at South Puget Sound Community College. This role requires a strong understanding of administrative tasks and excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, administering, and coordinating instruction with students, staff, and the public in regards to Transition Studies programs content, policies, procedures, and activities.
The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of anti-racist policy development and the skills to eliminate barriers that harm underrepresented people. They will work closely with students, staff, and faculty to promote student success and well-being.
**Key Responsibilities**
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Implementing, administering, and coordinating instruction with students, staff, and the public in regards to Transition Studies programs content, policies, procedures, and activities.
- Supporting student success in post-secondary academia transfer and workforce education that meets the needs of the South Sound region.
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with students, staff, and faculty to promote student success and well-being.
- Providing administrative support to the Transition Studies department, including preparing reports, data analysis, and other tasks as needed.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education or business administration.
- At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in higher education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of anti-racist policy development and the skills to eliminate barriers that harm underrepresented people.
**Compensation and Benefits**
We offer a competitive salary range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits include:

The estimated salary for this position is $52,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location.
