The Retail Sales Consultant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by proactively engaging with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Sales Consultants, along with Sales Leads and Showroom Managers, possess in-depth product knowledge, offering insights on product features and related items to facilitate comprehensive project sales.

Employees in this role are skilled in greeting, qualifying, recommending, and successfully closing sales with clients in the showroom.

Sales Consultants, Sales Leads, and Showroom Managers ensure the showroom is well-maintained, clean, and safe for customers.

Each team member is accountable for fostering a secure working and shopping environment by adhering to all safety protocols and standards.

Employees are required to complete necessary safety training and promptly address any hazards or unsafe conditions, reporting them to the Manager on Duty. Safety is paramount to ensure the well-being of themselves, colleagues, and customers.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Welcome and acknowledge all customers.
2. Demonstrate product features effectively (e.g., showcase how a recliner operates).
3. Process sales transactions and complete financing documentation.
4. Maintain and organize display models.
5. Discuss product options (good, better, best) with customers.
6. Set and meet personal sales targets.
7. Review daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
8. Assist with inventory management.
9. Utilize outstanding customer service skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Communication Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents; respond to customer inquiries and complaints; effectively present information to various levels of management and staff.

Ability to articulate clearly and persuasively in various situations, both verbally and in writing.


2. Computer Proficiency:

Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software applications.


3. Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions; collaborate effectively in problem-solving scenarios.


4. Project Management Skills:

Capability to create project plans; coordinate tasks; communicate changes and progress; complete projects within deadlines and budget.


5. Leadership Skills:

Ability to inspire respect and trust; motivate others to achieve the vision; provide guidance and inspiration to peers and subordinates.


6. Strategic Thinking Skills:

Ability to formulate strategies to meet organizational objectives; understand strengths and weaknesses; adapt strategies to evolving conditions.
