Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Research Scientist to support our research and development projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in putting together project schedules, reviewing deliverables, and providing subject matter expertise on explosives, chemical threats, and detection technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate research projects, ensuring timely completion and delivery of results.
  • Review and provide feedback on project deliverables, including reports, presentations, and technical documents.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of emerging trends and advancements in explosives detection and chemical threat mitigation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize research objectives and goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science field.
  • 5+ years of experience in explosives detection, chemical analysis, and/or related fields.
  • Security Clearance: Must have or be eligible to receive a DHS Secret security clearance.
  • DHS Suitability: Must be able to pass DHS Suitability screening or financial responsibility standards.
Estimated Salary Range:

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
