Job Summary

Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits is seeking a highly skilled Distribution Driver Class A to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to clients across the state, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Logistics: Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver products to clients, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including Department of Transportation logbook and driver vehicle inspection report (DVIR).
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth delivery operations, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a related field, such as logistics or transportation.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required, Department of Transportation (DOT) certification preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to frequently sit and operate a motor vehicle, as well as walk, bend, reach, stand, squat, and stoop.
