Fusion Medical Staffing-Home Health is seeking a skilled Home Health RN to join their team for a travel nursing assignment in Owings Mills, Maryland.

As a Home Health RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Essential Work Functions:

  • Completes nursing assessment of patients and documents appropriately into patient record.
  • Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members.
  • Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members.
  • Monitors patients' responses to interventions and reports outcomes.
  • Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Medical care provided in the privacy of the patient's home
  • Requires driving to multiple patient's homes daily
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • One years' experience as a RN, at least 6 months recent Home Health experience required
  • Current RN License
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license
  • Must have valid auto insurance
  • Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
