Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
• Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and patients to resolve issues and answer questions.
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry developments.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
