Position Summary: We are currently seeking a proficient Chimney Sweep & Fireplace Contractor to enhance our service offerings. In this role, you will be tasked with the critical responsibility of inspecting, cleaning, and repairing chimneys and fireplaces within residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of chimneys and fireplaces to evaluate their condition and identify potential hazards.
  • Perform chimney sweeping to eliminate creosote, soot, and other debris.
  • Repair or replace chimney liners, caps, and dampers as necessary.
  • Install new chimney liners and execute required repairs or modifications.
  • Advise clients on maintenance, repairs, or upgrades for their chimney systems.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and implement proper procedures.
  • Maintain precise records of inspections, cleanings, and repairs performed.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Document all work orders, materials used, and time spent on each job in the provided portal.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • General Liability insurance preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chimney Sweep or Fireplace Contractor.
  • Extensive knowledge of chimney and fireplace systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic carpentry and masonry skills.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Relevant certifications are advantageous.
