Certification Requirements

  • RDCS, CCI Registry, RCS, and BLS/BCLS certifications are mandatory.
  • BLS must be completed through the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
  • EPIC EMR experience is preferred.

Job Details

  • Travelers must be within a 75-mile straight-line radius (not driving distance) and cannot be local.
  • The ideal candidate is a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a 13-week travel assignment is required.
  • The individual must demonstrate skills necessary to function in the Echo lab.
  • Advanced knowledge of basic imaging equipment is essential.
  • Candidate must be able to work cohesively with other team members.

Job Requirements

  • Must be registered, have credentials, and NM state licensing (medical Imaging or Radiation Therapy).
  • This must be completed by the first Friday of the first week of the traveler's contract.
  • Must be registered and have at least 2 years of experience.

Schedule Information

  • Shift Start time: 7:00 am
  • Shift length: 10 hours
  • On Call requirements: Yes, cover call/back up call
  • Floating requirements: Yes, work in both inpt (8/9 pts) and outpt clinic (9 pt.)
  • Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
  • On call, weekends, and holidays may be required.
  • Travelers are first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location.

Additional Details

  • No holiday RTO will be approved for travelers.
  • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from the last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
  • State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
