Job OverviewThe Millington-Memphis Airport is seeking dedicated personnel for various airport fueling roles, including both supervisory and lineman positions, available in full-time and part-time capacities.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to pilots and passengers.
- Ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Guide aircraft in and out of the ramp area.
- Refuel and service aircraft with necessary fluids.
- Tow aircraft to and from hangars and tie-down areas as needed.
- Secure all aircraft appropriately.
- Utilize GPU and lavatory services, including the disposal of waste.
- Maintain cleanliness of crew vehicles and ground service equipment (GSE).
- Perform routine fueling and maintenance on GSE.
- In supervisory roles, manage fuel orders, receipts, and quality testing.
- Communicate effectively with customer service representatives, management, and maintenance teams using two-way radios.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Understanding of airport and FAA regulations and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively within airport operations.
- Independent judgment in both routine and complex situations.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize daily tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Mathematical skills for necessary calculations.
- Experience in fueling procedures across various aircraft types.
- Capability to perform maintenance and manual labor tasks.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and occupational hazards.
- Proficient in operating equipment such as fuel trucks and maintenance tools.
- Assist with operational tasks including gate access and vendor escorting.
Essential Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant education, training, and experience that provide necessary skills for the role.
- Prior experience in aircraft fueling is mandatory.
- For supervisory roles, previous management or lead experience in aviation is preferred.
- Experience with general maintenance tasks is beneficial.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and testing is required.
- Proficiency in English is essential; Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Flexible availability for variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Capability to identify and report safety hazards and deficiencies.
- Proactive in suggesting improvements for safety and security practices.
- Quick learner with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork.
- Work in a smoke-free environment.
