About the Role

Autoneum, a leading global supplier in sustainable acoustic and thermal management solutions, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team in Norwalk, Ohio. As a key player in our facility, you will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and coordination of our Integrated Management System, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949:2016 certification requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and Enforce Quality Programs: Ensure the precision and accuracy of corporate quality programs, procedures, and policies, as well as production, testing metrics, and analytic equipment.
  • Quality Documentation: Maintain and improve program-related quality documentation, such as process flow charts, and production processes.
  • PPAP Studies and Documentation: Perform PPAP studies and documentation, ensuring all products meet quality standards, and provide information to support lessons learned based on internal and customer quality issues.
  • Training and 5S: Provide training on processes, standards, and procedures defined by the Integrated Management System, and maintain 5S in the department, participating in audit processes.
  • Audit Preparation and Customer Complaint Management: Participate in preparations for all activities related to IATF 16949, customer, and CCC/CCAP audits, as needed, and be responsible for customer complaint management and activities relating to root causes.
  • Vendor-Compliant Management: Monitor and pull scorecards from customer portals for review, and comply with all federal, state, and local legal requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or Quality Management Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in automotive Quality Management, with basic knowledge of Quality Management Tools and Automotive Standards.
  • International Experience: Preferred experience working with suppliers, customers, and co-workers from a variety of countries.
