Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team at American Financing Corp.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software systems, automating internal development and testing tasks, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure standards are met for architectural consistency, cloud support, security, and observability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software solutions that drive business growth
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
  • Automate internal development and testing tasks to drive higher efficiency
  • Review and debug code
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure standards are met

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of overall software development experience
  • Experience working with.NET and C#, including.NET core, dependency injection frameworks, web services technologies
  • Experience working with SQL Server and ORM frameworks. Mongo experience a plus
  • Experience with JIRA and agile methodologies
  • Effective time management and ability to float between multiple projects
  • Good working knowledge of security best practices, including familiarity with authentication frameworks such as OAuth 2.0 and SAML
