Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MRI technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for performing patient studies according to set protocols, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient and staff safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocols, including placing specified coils close to the area of interest.
  • Operate imaging and other equipment devices to ensure quality diagnostic services are provided.
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address their concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements:
  • Two years of regular (20 hours or more per week) continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist.
  • License in the required state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
  • Two years of hospital experience in a clinical area, with EP preferred.
Work Environment:

This is a contract/temporary/travel position with a 13-week duration. The work environment will be fast-paced, with a focus on providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients.
