Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Direct Patient Care: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Education and Professional Development: Stay current with the latest evidence-based practices, participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: At least one year of recent ICU experience required.
- Credentials: Current RN licensure and Basic Life Support certification required; ACLS certification required upon hire.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent exposure to biohazardous materials and potential for physical and emotional demands. The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 35 pounds, push/pull up to 45 pounds, and perform hands-on CPR as needed.
