Key Responsibilities:
As an Associate Technician, your role will include:

  • Delivering intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) during brain and spine surgeries to assist surgical teams in minimizing risks to patients' nervous systems.
  • Engaging actively in all training sessions, workshops, and educational lectures.
  • Gaining proficiency in operating and troubleshooting IONM equipment and software.
  • Executing IONM modalities such as MEPs, SSEPs, EMG, and TOF during surgical procedures.
  • Collaborating effectively with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintaining precise records of monitoring outcomes and patient data.
  • Continuously enhancing skills and knowledge in IONM techniques and technologies.
  • Participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, neuroscience, psychology).
  • A solid academic foundation in anatomy and physiology.
  • A valid driver's license and Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • The capability to transport and set up neuromonitoring equipment (weighing up to 50lbs) efficiently in the operating room.
