About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate NICU Nurse Practitioner to join our team at AdventHealth Castle Rock. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, and review of medical records and clinical data.
  • Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect the health and safety and rights of each patient.
  • Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic/diagnostic interventions, including IVs, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.
Requirements
  • A graduate of an accredited school of nursing or degree program.
  • One year experience preferred in Nursing, with specific skills and knowledge base in NICU.
  • Current Colorado RN License or a Compact RN License from a NCLA Compact State.
  • BLS certification credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
