NICU Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate NICU Nurse Practitioner to join our team at AdventHealth Castle Rock. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, and review of medical records and clinical data.
- Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect the health and safety and rights of each patient.
- Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic/diagnostic interventions, including IVs, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.
- A graduate of an accredited school of nursing or degree program.
- One year experience preferred in Nursing, with specific skills and knowledge base in NICU.
- Current Colorado RN License or a Compact RN License from a NCLA Compact State.
- BLS certification credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
