About the Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant performs routine nursing and household duties to promote a resident-directed model of care in a cottage setting. This role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living and life engagement, working in a self-managed team to coordinate daily care tasks and life engagement, and performing under the supervision of a licensed nurse at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide life engagement activities, such as recreational therapy and social events
  • Coordinate daily care tasks with the care team
  • Perform routine nursing duties, such as vital sign checks and medication administration
Requirements
  • Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
