Sanitation Specialist

About the Position

The Sanitation Specialist is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our warehouse or distribution center. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being of our employees and the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform heavy cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Operate a floor sweeper to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
• Keep walkways free of debris and spills to prevent accidents.
• Clean office windows and glass surfaces to ensure a professional appearance.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Clean and stock restrooms to ensure a comfortable and clean space for employees.
• Keep supply rooms stocked and orderly to ensure efficient operations.
• Keep parking lots free of litter to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Report safety violations to management to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of experience in a similar role.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Pass Background and Drug screen.
• Attention to detail to ensure a clean and safe environment.
