Job Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time Psychiatrist to join our team. The successful candidate will evaluate and treat patients referred for the assessment and treatment of neuropsychiatric conditions, behavioral health disorders, and comorbid conditions. The Psychiatrist will provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring, including prescribing medications within limits of applicable State law and following appropriate standards of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients referred for the assessment and treatment of neuropsychiatric conditions, behavioral health disorders, and comorbid conditions.
  • Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring, including prescribing medications.
  • Collaborate with 2 PMHNP's to provide comprehensive care.
  • Perform psychiatric hold evaluations in ED as needed.
  • Utilize EHRs: Intelligent Routing, Meditech, Epic, Core.
  • Respond immediately to consult requests received during a scheduled shift.
Requirements
  • Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry.
  • Valid and unrestricted DEA.
  • Must be proficient in using Telemedicine technologies to treat patients remotely.
  • Licensed in FL.
