Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and Pick Up Containers: Safely and efficiently deliver and pick up containers at customer sites, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide customers with appropriate paperwork and ensure timely and efficient delivery and pickup of containers.
  • Conduct Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on every truck driven daily, ensuring equipment defects are reported immediately.
  • Accurately Complete Paperwork: Accurately complete all paperwork and documents required by Federal DOT and the Company daily.
  • Load and Secure Cargo: Drivers are responsible for their load, ensuring appropriate material distribution and securing of cargo.
  • Switch Between Truck Types: Willingness to switch from one type of truck to another, depending on business needs.
  • Represent the Company: Provide a positive representation of the company by demonstrating safe, responsible driving practices.
  • Maintain Tractor Interior: Keep tractor interior clean and orderly.
  • Monitor Truck Mechanical Functions: Monitor the truck's mechanical functions and ensure the truck is maintained in accordance with maintenance schedules.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License: Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Driving Experience: At least 6 months of Class A driving experience (2+ years driving experience preferred).
  • Standard Truck Experience: Must be able to drive standard trucks (stick).
  • Experience with Various Vehicles: Must have driving experience with the following vehicles: Tractor trailers, Frameless Dump Trailers, Lowboy, and drop decks.
  • Clean Driving Record: Clean Driving Record/MVR.
  • DOT Physical Card: Must possess or be able to obtain a current DOT physical card.
  • Drug and Alcohol Testing: Must meet DOT and Company requirements related to drug and alcohol testing.
