ARS Treatment Centers is seeking a qualified Substance Abuse Counselor to provide direct counseling and case management services to patients suffering from opioid use disorder.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a caseload, conducting psychosocial assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans. They will also provide counseling and aftercare services, ensuring adherence to State Regulations, CARF Standards, 42 CFR, and HIPAA standards.
Responsibilities- Maintain a caseload per State Regulations
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop interpretive summaries
- Develop Preliminary Treatment Plans and Treatment Plan Reviews
- Prepare aftercare transition plans for patients
- Ensure proficiency with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR, and HIPAA standards
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a similar field
- Masters degree preferred
- Must be CSAC or eligible for CSAC supervision
