Job Title: Operating Room Tech / Surgical Technician

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Surgical Technologist to work in our operating room. As an OR Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. Your duties will include preparing the OR, assisting with surgical tools and equipment, maintaining sterile conditions, and transporting patients to and from surgery.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepares the operating room for surgical procedures
  • Assists with surgical tools and equipment
  • Maintains sterile conditions in the operating room
  • Transports patients to and from surgery
  • Provides support to nurses and surgeons during surgical procedures
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • BLS Certification
  • Trauma Experience preferred, not required
  • Travel experience preferred, not required
