Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily functions of the Dietary Department, maintaining a clean and safe work environment that meets facility, OBRA, Federal State, and other regulatory expectations.
  • Prepare and portion food items to ensure the highest quality of life for all residents.
  • Set up meal trays and deliver meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with putting stock away on delivery days and maintaining the dietary work areas in a clean and sanitary manner.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all residents and their care, ensuring resident rights and privacy are protected at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of safe dietary procedures and the geriatric community.
  • Willingness to work for the best interest of the residents and facility.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and partner with other departments.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Some dietary experience preferred.
