PACU Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As a RN PACU, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition for patients from the operating room to the recovery room.

• Assess patient status throughout the episode of care and develop an individualized plan of care.
• Implement evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide accurate and concise hand-off reports to other healthcare team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of PACU experience preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice nursing in good standing.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days of employment.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course within 90 days of employment.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope services within 90 days of employment.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing or Perianesthesia is preferred.
