We are in search of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to enhance our Positive Options behavioral health division. Our approach integrates positive behavior support methodologies and trauma-informed care to ensure ethical and client-focused ABA therapy, empowering each individual to reach their utmost potential. The BCBA will employ best practices and innovative technologies within community environments to assist youth in acquiring, retaining, enhancing, and generalizing essential behavioral, self-help, social, relational, and communication skills. These targeted strategies will support youth in managing emotional and behavioral responses, fostering meaningful relationships, and effectively articulating their needs, thereby facilitating a smooth transition to less intensive community services. At Positive Options, we prioritize the success of our staff by providing the necessary technology, resources, benefits, autonomy, and flexibility that contribute to our exceptional workplace culture.
Compensation
$75,000 - $90,000 annual salary based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement behavioral support interventions tailored to individual needs, with adjustments based on ongoing assessments.
- Conduct Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) including Functional Behavioral Assessments and the creation of Behavioral Support Plans.
- Oversee and mentor RVT/Behavior Support Specialist staff as required.
- Execute the individualized Behavior Support Plan effectively.
- Deliver Positive Behavioral Supports consistently.
- Provide training and guidance to support staff involved in ABA services.
- Ensure direct supervision of behavior technicians in accordance with Board Certification standards.
- Adjust the Behavioral Support Plan based on systematic evaluations of observational data.
- Collaborate with the licensee and department staff during inspections, inquiries, or investigations.
- Coordinate support with program staff and actively participate as a member of the clinical team.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Level Board Certified Behavioral Analyst.
- Proven ability to build supportive relationships with individuals receiving services.
- Strong judgment and composure in crisis situations.
- Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
- Completion of all state and agency-required training.
- Experience in prioritizing and solving problems effectively.
- Ability to establish supportive relationships with youth and their families.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management capabilities.
Working Environment
- Participate in on-call coverage with other clinicians to ensure 24/7 crisis response.
- Potential exposure to various medical conditions and communicable diseases.
- Travel by automobile for job duties, utilizing personal vehicle, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
